(hereinafter referred to as AAIC Investment) is pleased to announce an investment in Fourth Valley Concierge Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Fourth Valley) through the Africa Innovation and Healthcare Fund (hereinafter referred to as AHF2), a fund managed by AAIC Investment that focuses on investments in the healthcare sector in Africa.
Fourth Valley has been running its cross-border high-skill talent recruitment and retention support business under the brand name, “Connect Job” connecting global talent and companies. Its database includes approximately 460,000 people from 186 countries and regions, with a track record of working with about 400 companies, including major global corporations and IT companies, as well as local and small businesses in Japan.
In Japan, the shortage of labor has become a serious social issue. Meanwhile, Africa, with a population of 1.4 billion (with a median age of 18.6 years), is expected to exceed 3 billion by 2100, and high unemployment rates are a challenge, especially among the youth. While there have been platforms supporting “study abroad in Japan,” the infrastructure for supporting “employment in Japan” is still not sufficiently established.
Through this investment, AAIC aims to promote human resource development in Africa and provide opportunities for Africans to work in Japan, particularly in the medical and nursing care sectors, by combining AAIC’s knowledge, experience, and networks in the African market with Fourth Valley’s global talent network and career support expertise.
